How will my plants be packed?
Plants are usually removed from the containers they are growing in and most of the soil is removed in order to reduce the weight. A small amount of moist soil is left around the roots and the plant is then placed in a plastic bag and tied off at the roots with a twistie tie. The top of the bag is stuffed with shredded paper to protect the plants during shipment. Plants are then carefully laid in a box which is layered with more shredded paper. This method has worked well.

How will my plants shipped?

Plants are normally sent out in priority mail even though that is not yet listed as an option. The cost for priority mail is usually close to the cost of UPS Ground but it only takes a couple days instead of 3 - 6 days.

When will my plants be sent?
A.
We try to ship orders as they come in. (Within a few days, often in a day or two) During heavy volumns of orders there may be a delay. You will receive an automated email from the USPS online service with tracking information about your order when your plants are sent out.

What type of credit cards are accepted?

Can I pay with check or money order?
A.
Yes! You may mail your check or money order if you wish. However, this will delay your order. If you wish to mail your payment, choose to "pay by check" at the checkout. You will not be asked for your banking information but there is a place you must put a check number. (This is for your own records and can be any number you want.) Do not send a payment until you receive an email from us confirming that everything you have ordered is available. (This is not the automatic email you receive right after your order is placed which simply confirms that your order was received.)

What is your Return Policy?

If there is a problem with your plants or seeds you must contact us immediately by phone or email. If your plants arrive in poor condition you may return them for full refund as long as you contact us within 24 hours after receiving your order. There is no refund for seeds if the package has been opened. There will be a 20% re-stocking fee on returned seeds.
